What are your rates?

My rate is $160/50 minute session.

Do you accept insurance?

I accept Aetna, Anthem EAP - Bank of America, BCBS of Georgia, Carelon, Cigna, and Quest Behavioral Health. I am in process of being credentialed with Oxford, Oscar, United Healthcare, United Healthcare Medicare advantage. Please be aware that in order to accept insurance I have to apply a diagnosis. Some individuals prefer to pay out of pocket to ensure their privacy. This is your choice.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Please let me know 48 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel or reschedule.  Late cancellation will result in the full fee being charged. Insurance does not cover fees for missed or late cancelled sessions.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is an evidence based for treating trauma that involves stimulating both hemispheres of the brain.  You can learn more about it here: https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy/

What do you mean by “faith sensitive”?

I have been trained to incorporate the clients faith in the counseling process. However, this is only at your request.  I will not impose my faith on you.

What can I expect for the first meeting?

The first meeting will be an opportunity for you to tell me what’s bringing you in for therapy and what you hope to get out of therapy.  I will gather general information about you, such as your medical, educational, and work histories.  The first few sessions we will be getting to know each other, to see if we are a good fit to work together.
